Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to the tutoring services, website, registration forms, and student portal offered by Patton RK LLC under the Patton Learning Center service and brand (“PLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering a student, creating or using an account, submitting payment, or using PLC services, you agree to these Terms.

Parent or guardian authorization

If a student is under 18, the person registering the student or managing the account represents that they are the student's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have authority to enroll the student and provide the submitted information. Portal accounts should be created and managed by an authorized adult unless PLC expressly approves another arrangement.

Registration and enrollment

Submitting a registration form does not guarantee enrollment, placement, schedule, or availability. PLC reviews registrations and confirms enrollment separately. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to promptly update PLC about changes affecting contact details, emergency contacts, allergies, educational needs, enrollment, or payment administration.

Tutoring services

PLC provides educational instruction, assignments, feedback, and progress information. Student outcomes depend on many factors, including participation, attendance, practice, and individual circumstances. PLC does not guarantee a particular grade, score, admission result, academic outcome, or level of improvement.

Student safety and allergy information

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate, current allergy, emergency-contact, and other safety-related information. PLC tutoring is not medical care, and information displayed in the portal does not replace direct communication about urgent health or safety needs.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity conducted through it. Notify PLC promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not:

• Access another family's, student's, or administrator's information without authorization.
• Provide false information, impersonate another person, or misuse registration or payment functions.
• Interfere with the website, attempt to bypass security controls, upload malicious material, or use automated tools to abuse the service.
• Copy, distribute, or exploit portal content or another person's information except as authorized.

Fees and payments

You agree to pay charges associated with confirmed enrollment and services according to the amounts and due dates communicated by PLC or displayed in the portal. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or recorded from other accepted payment methods. Questions about a charge, credit, payment allocation, cancellation, or refund should be directed to PLC so the specific circumstances and applicable enrollment arrangement can be reviewed.

Homework and submitted content

You retain ownership of homework images and other content you submit. You authorize PLC and its service providers to host, process, reproduce, and review that content only as reasonably necessary to provide tutoring, feedback, account features, security, and support. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to share.

AI assistance

PLC instructors may use AI-assisted tools to support their work. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and approved by an instructor before it is shared with students or families.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information and is incorporated into these Terms.

Third-party services

The website and portal rely on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, payments, email, data storage, and instructional tools. Your use of certain features may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy policy.

Service availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue website or portal features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve operations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, but we will work to address reported issues.

Suspension or termination

PLC may restrict or end access to services or the portal for nonpayment, misuse, safety concerns, violation of these Terms, or other reasonable operational grounds. Obligations that accrued before termination, including valid payment obligations and record-retention requirements, may continue.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the website and portal are provided on an “as available” basis. PLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the website or portal. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as our services or legal requirements change. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
